Audit process
From scoping call to findings memo
A clear sequence for service companies commissioning a backend bookkeeping audit—what we ask for, what we test, and what you receive.
Scoping call
We map legal entities, bookkeeping systems, review period, and the decision your audit needs to support—filing, lender package, or internal cleanup.
Document intake
You receive a checklist: trial balance, bank reconciliations, AR/AP aging, payroll controls, and samples of unusual journals. Secure transfer instructions are included.
Fieldwork
We sample reconciliations, trace high-risk postings, and log exceptions with evidence references. Optional Taipei working sessions happen when paper support must be reviewed in person.
Draft findings
Your bookkeeping contact sees a draft memo with severity rankings. We clarify open questions before anything is finalized for owners or lenders.
Final memo & roadmap
You receive the findings pack and a sequenced remediation list. A closing call walks through priorities—we do not take over day-to-day posting unless separately arranged.
What you prepare
- Access Read-only exports or scheduled screenshares with your bookkeeper.
- Context Known problem accounts, recent staff changes, and any lender or filing deadline.
- Decision owner Someone who can approve remediation sequencing after the memo lands.
